The community council has paid attention to social issues and aimed to serve the inhabitants of the village in the best possible way, so as to upgrade the standards of the quality of life in our Community.

  • The offices of the Community Council and the Community Library are open for the public on a daily basis; the factories in the Industrial Zone are open as well.

Phase A’ of the project includes a rectangular drain pipe 180 meters long and a subterranean pipeline (400 meters long) for transferring rain water from Aftostegasi district. The offer for Phase A’ belongs to Patsali Brothers Ltd. and is worth £230,000. the project is expected to be concluded in November 2006.

As far as phase B’ is concerned, according to the direction given by the Minister of Interior, the construction plans will have to be ready by Summer 2006. Phase B’ will begin in 2007 and is estimated to cost more than £350,000.
